Super Thankful! - Happy Thanksgiving!

I purchased this shirt from The Shop Forward, they have a great selection of apparel, hats and other items that support good causes throughout the world.  It all started with #pimpinjoy and grew from there.  This pullover supports military families throughout the holiday season, which is a cause near and dear to my heart, shout out to my fam stationed at Vandenberg!

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving holiday and takes some time to be super thankful!  If you find it in your heart to support a good cause, check out The Shop Forward.

A Stocking Stuffer You Can Use All Year Round!

I started using a Burst toothbrush a year ago and my teeth appreciate it as much as I do.  They are squeaky clean, literally, my back molars squeak some days.  I shared my experience with my youngest sister and she got them for her family and said the same thing.  I know an electric toothbrush as a stocking stuffer isn't a fun gift, but it is something I use every day and am happy I purchased.
Here are some benefits of the Burst toothbrush, charcoal bristles, it has a 2-minute timer with interval technology that pulses every 30 seconds for you to move to a different section of your mouth, 3 brush modes, whitening, sensitive, and massage.  Finally, it will last up to four weeks on one two hour charge and has a lifetime guarantee.  See a pic of mine charging below, also the shelf I use is linked below along with Burst toothbrush purchase links and promo code.  The toothbrush comes in three different colors, white, black, and rose gold, I personally recommend the white just for ease of cleaning.  For $6 per toothbrush head, you will get a new one sent to you every 3 months via their subscription plan, I recommend this as it is a set it and forget it plan for me.

Create Your Own Cookbook Shelf!

I live is a very small house, as such storage is at a premium.  I like to dabble in cooking for myself and my friends and family.  I also have several cookbooks that have been given to me, but where to store all those cookbooks?  The space behind my backdoor is a space that isn't used much so I created a cookbook shelf using this half crate from Home Depot (I went recently and didn't see it in stores anymore but check your Home Depot paint aisle anyway, you never know).
I spray painted the shelf a color that matches my kitchen decor, and then screwed it into the wall.  If you are screwing it into a stud you are all set, if not I recommend using drywall anchors since there will be some weight involved in storing your cookbooks.  If you don't have wall space, another great area to store cookbooks is in a crate on top of your refrigerator or on the top shelf in your pantry where you have some spare space.  You can spray-paint the crate to match your kitchen or decoupage it with some artwork or designs that you like, it could even be tiled to match a backsplash.

I have linked some crates below from Amazon that would work great to make a cookbook shelf or to store your cookbooks in on your countertop.  Happy fall cooking!

Gardening with Power Tools, Yes Please!

While the weather is still decent do you want to take advantage of it and plant some spring bulbs?  If the answer is yes and you like any excuse to use power tools, like I do, get a bulb auger.  I follow the Garden Answer on YouTube and Instagram and have learned so much from their videos, including how to use a bulb auger.  They planted over 1,000 spring bulbs, can you imagine!!  It was inspiring to watch so I planted a meager 45 daffodils this week.  The job was made a lot easier with my drill, and the bulb auger linked below from Amazon.  Happy gardening!

Winter Candles, my favorite scents of the year!

Do you or someone you know love winter scented candles?  If you do, like I do, this candle is for you.  I have a slight, ever-growing candle addiction.  I love to come home in the evening and put my comfies on and light a candle.

Winter Clementine has a fresh citrus smell with a background of fresh balsam or pine.  The reasons I love this candle are the burn time, listed as 105 hours, it has far outlasted my other three-wick candles.  Don't get me wrong I love my other 3 wick candles but their burn time tends to be a little on the short side.  The scent is not overpowering but still perfumes my living room after being lit for only a few moments.  Finally, the price is decent when compared with other two and three-wick seasonal candles with long burn times.  If you add in free shipping via Amazon Prime (if you have a membership) it is a great deal, so start that retail therapy and get your home smelling like the holidays.  Please feel free to shop the link below for this candle in medium size.
